Members of our congregation were very pleased to welcome visitors to share with us in our annual service of remembrance and we were grateful to the Rev Peter Bevan for leading our worship. It was particular special to have members of the Hawtin family with us as we honoured the memory of Charles Hawtin, the only villager from Bourton on the Hill to have lost his life in active service in the second world war.
