Leah and Ethan were married in St Lawrence, Bourton on the Hill when they were living in the village and very much involved in village life. Following a move to Evesham, they welcomed their daughter, Sienna, into their family and we were delighted that they decided to bring her back to Bourton on the Hill for her baptism. It was a joy to welcome so many of their family and friends and Dana led a wonderful service, successfully combining thoughts on the baptism ceremony itself with reflections about the last Sunday of the Christian year celebrating Christ the King - a king who was not like an earthly medieval king but came to live simply, to serve and to give his life for us. The service was relaxed and happy and Sienna was enchanting. Afterwards everyone was invited to a buffet lunch in the Old School Hall where celebrations continued - a lovely coming together of friends, family and community to share this special moment in a little girl's life.
