St Mary the Virgin is a very friendly church tucked away in the village of Beverston behind Beverston Castle. All of our services follow the Book of Common Prayer. We enjoy the presence of our wonderful choir and organist at our services.
Usual Services follow this pattern and are at 10.00am:
1st Sunday of the month Sung Matins
2nd Sunday Holy Communion
3rd Sunday Holy Communion
4th Sunday Sung Matins
5th Sunday No Service
Our parish of Beverston: St Mary the Virgin is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Angela on 07530303143/email [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [email protected].
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
