Sofas, songs and bacon butties; a new kind of Sunday Gathering at Poulton Church.

Church - but not as you know it!

If you've ever thought that Church isn't for you... maybe too formal, too quiet, or just not your thing... you're not alone.

But what if church meant snuggling on a sofa and welcomed everyone from toddlers to waddlers?
This isn't a service, there's no sermon, no standing up and sitting down. No pressure. Just coffee, hot chocolate, bacon butties and chocolate brownies. Space to reflect, relax, chat and enjoy time together.

What to expect:

A warm welcome
Comfy sofas
Music
Children's activities, and space to run around, whatever the weather outside
Food and drinks
A short story, a prayer, a song - perhaps talking about life and faith, or not if you don't want to.

Connect, reflect, enjoy.

No need to book. No need to dress up. No need to know anything. Just come along and join us at 10am on the first Sunday of each month.

Come once, come often, just come as you are.
We promise it's different, and we hope you'll love it.

St Michael & All Angels, Poulton

The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Poulton sits literally and figuratively in the heart of the village.

We extend a welcome to villagers and visitors alike to our regular church services and community events. Our regular services take place on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month:

2nd Sunday - 8am Book of Common Prayer Communion Service

4th Sunday - 10am Parish Communion Service

As a church community, we try to support and serve the wider local community. We hold regular concerts and events in the church, produce a monthly village newsletter which is distributed to all villagers and run a children's holiday club (Little Saints).

Our church is open at all times. Please come in and enjoy it as we do.
