Revd Karen Wellman is the transitional priest in charge of this benefice.
Revd Karen came to the benefice in September 2023 with a brief to raise the profile of the churches locally and nationally. She has extensive experience of working with organisations at a point of change. Before ordination she worked in sales in publishing and computers. She trained as a garden designer and learned very quickly to manage expectations as you really can't grow a flower garden under oak trees! She is both a spiritual director and dance teacher leading retreats and quiet days on embodied prayer
