St Peter's Church, Winchcombe
Welcome to the Parish of Winchcombe!
St Peter's Church is now open every day for individual private prayer only from 9.30am to 5.00pm. On Wednesday and Thursday mornings, access is restricted to the clinically vulnerable.
We are currently streaming services online via the parish website at winchcombeparish.org.uk.
St Peter's Church, near the centre of Winchcombe, is next to the site of what was once an important abbey. In Saxon times, our town was briefly the home of the kings of Mercia. St Kenelm, a martyred prince, was buried at the abbey which became a centre of pilgrimage. Winchcombe continues to welcome a large number of visitors today.
Our main Sunday service is usually at 10.30am, followed by refreshments. We look forward to welcoming you to any of our services or other activities.
