Welcome to St Giles, Lincoln
Serving the communities of St Giles, Glebe Park, and Nettleham Fields.
We are a vibrant, inclusive church family located in the heart of North Lincoln. Whether you have lived here for decades or are just moving into the area, you are so welcome here. We pride ourselves on being a "church of the people," working closely with our neighbours at St John the Baptist, Ermine, to serve our local community.

Did You Know?
St Giles is affectionately known as "The Church That Moved." Our building was originally St Peter at Arches in the city centre. In the 1930s, it was moved brick-by-brick uphill to serve this growing estate, bringing its beautiful 18th-century organ and bells with it!
Our Community Heart
We believe in faith in action. Beyond our services, we are home to:
- The
St Giles Community Garden: A space for peace,
"Incredible Edible" growing, and mental wellbeing.
- Local
Outreach: We work alongside the Lincoln
Community Larder and other local partners to support our neighbours in
times of need.
Safeguarding
St Giles is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Debbie Armiger.
The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA). If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the DSA.
Immediate Concerns: If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the Police or your local authority Children or Adult Services.
