Opening Times & Regular Events
St Giles is open to the public during the following times for worship, fellowship, and community support:
Weekly Opening Hours
- Mondays | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Open for our Winter Warm Room (Jubilee Halls).
- Wednesdays (Alternate) | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Open for Fellowship or Pilgrims Together.
- Thursdays | 9:30 am – 11:00 am: Open for our Mid-week Holy Communion (Service at 10:00 am).
- Sundays | 9:30 am – 11:30 am: Open for our main Parish Eucharist (Service at 10:00 am).
Seasonal & Special Hours
- Summer "Cool Rooms": During heatwaves, the church is open as a designated Cool Room. Please check our Facebook page for specific dates and times during extreme weather.
- The Community Garden: Generally open during church event hours or by arrangement with our garden volunteers.
- Hall Hire: The Jubilee Halls are open to hirers between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm by prior booking with Debbie Armiger.

How to Find Us by Bus
St Giles is easily accessible from Lincoln City Centre and the surrounding estates. The closest bus stops are located on Macaulay Drive and Outer Circle Drive.
- From Lincoln Central Bus Station:
- Stagecoach Service 5 (St Giles Estate): This is the most frequent service. Alight at the Coleridge Gardens stop on Macaulay Drive. From there, it is just a 2-minute walk to the church and Jubilee Halls.
- Stagecoach Service 18: Another great option from the Bus Station. Alight at the Coleridge Gardens or Cowper Drive stop.
- From Ermine or Nettleham Fields:
- Stagecoach Service 17: Connects St John’s Ermine and Nettleham Fields to St Giles. Alight at the Cowper Drive stop.
- From Nettleham Village:
- PC Coaches Service 44: Alight at the Outer Circle Drive stop (near Geneva Avenue) for a short walk to the church.
