St Giles Community Garden

St Giles Community Garden

From derelict land to a blooming sanctuary.

Since 2016, what was once an overgrown area behind our church halls has been transformed into a vibrant community garden. Working with local volunteers and partners like Green Synergy, we’ve created a beautiful, shared space for peace, wildlife, and "Incredible Edible" growing.

🌿 Our Eco Journey

We believe we are called to be wise stewards of God’s earth. Our "Eco Team" works hard to ensure our church life reflects this commitment. We are proud of our progress:

  • 2020: Achieved Eco-Church Bronze Award
  • 2022: Achieved Eco-Church Silver Award

We aren't stopping there! We are continuing to make positive, sustainable changes across our worship, buildings, and lifestyle as we journey toward our Gold Award.

🌻 Get Involved

A garden is only as strong as its community! We are always looking for friendly volunteers to help keep the space looking wonderful. Whether you are a master gardener or just want to get your hands a little dirty for a good cause, you are so welcome.
