Accessibility

There is a toilet in the church vestry, but unfortunately at the moment access is restricted for wheel chair users, as there is one step up from the church to the corridor leading to the vestry

There is a table in the vestry next to the toilets.

There is a parking bay in front of the church and a large car park off the high street a block to the north.

The main nave of the church is accessible for mobility scooters, wheelchairs and prams.

Hearing (induction) Loop

Assistance dogs are are as welcome as their owners!

We do try and have a selection of gf biscuits. Gf communion wafers are also available


Our Building

There are several important stained glass windows. The story of the crucificion in the lady chapel, the baptismal window. and others

Parts of are church are very ancient, and later additions are notable.


Music and Worship

We have a set of 6 bells at the moment but are in the process of enlarging the peal, so that it will be one of the largest in the city. university bell ringers are based here.

Our church is very suitable for concerts, choral events and organ recitals. Please get in touch if you would like to organise such an event.

Our organ has recently been cleaned and repaired and is an excellent example of its type.


Groups, Courses and Activities

We hope to rei-instate or monthly Saturday morning coffee sessions which were closed during covid. A friendly place to stop off on the way to or from a shopping session in the town. Stalls are also featured.

The diocesan MU office is in our church hall, but is not manned on a regular basis

These are available free to visitors at the back of church.


Other Features

Our hall on Sibthorp street, is an excellent venue for meetings of all sorts, but because it is in a residential area it is not suitable for late parties. We do not have a licence for live music.
