About Us

Built in 1873, whilst being the newest of the churches in the Parish, its architecture does not fail to charm. The church was built to provide for not only the spiritual needs of the local hamlet but also the educational needs, as in the early 1900's the population exceeded 200. It was at this point that the existing schoolroom was extended. The school that used to operate from the church is no longer in existence; but the old schoolroom is presently used for Parish meetings and events, including the locally famous August Teas (which help to raise funds for the upkeep of the building and the work of the church within the Parish). The School Room is also available for hire to the local community.
