A quiet time for prayer and reflection.

This service is usually held in the Crypt Chapel

Said Eucharist

We will hold our usual Parade and All-Age Eucharist to mark the beginning of Advent (on the skating rink of course!).

At this service we will also hold our annual collection of toys and gifts for Christmas which will then be donated to Grantham Foodbank for distribution. If you are able, please bring along a new, unwrapped gift for the collection. Items that have been asked for from Grantham Foodbank are: selection boxes, gifts for teenagers and younger children. Cat and dog food, shaving foam, deodorant and any toiletries. Gifts will be distributed with food to ensure the crisis families face at this time will be eased this Christmas.

Choral music, readings and carols for Advent by candlelight.

Evening Prayer takes place on the first Sunday of the month. All other Sundays are Choral Evensong with one of the choirs from St Wulfram's Church

The season of Advent is all about mindfulness. Fr Clay will introduce Advent themes through conversation and reflection, music and silence. Refreshments will be offered from 6:45pm for a 7:15pm start.

Three weekly sessions begin on Wednesday 6 December from 7:15pm for an hour, no need to book - just come along.

As the world readies itself for the great joy of Christmas celebrations and festivities in the coming days, there will for many of us for whom this will also be a time when we are acutely aware of our loved ones who have died; those we have celebrated Christmas with in the past and who are no longer with us.

We step away from the busyness of this time of year, to pause and to remember those we love but see no longer.

In this service of carols and prayers, we light candles in memory of those who have died.

Gents, come and join us for breakfast to connect and have a leisurely start to your morning.

We will be holding a Christmas Wreath Making Workshops at Grantham House, 45 Castlegate, Grantham, NG31 6SS on Saturday, 9 (fully booked) and 16 December from 10:00am to 12:00noon.

Cost per person is £25.00, all materials provided plus coffee, mulled wine and mince pies.

If you would like to personalise your wreath, please bring along your own Christmas baubles etc.

Join us for an evening of carols sung by current and former members of the Youth Choir, directed by Dr Tim Williams.
