Church of England Diocese of Lincoln Fishtoft

St Guthlac

A warm welcome to the parish church of St Guthlac's Fishtoft in Lincolnshire.  We worship the living God in a building where Christians have worshipped for over 900 years and seek to bring the love of Jesus Christ to our community by living out our motto:  Love God - Love People - Follow Jesus.   All are welcome to worship with us - either online or in person. Our church is open during the week to provide a Sanctum - a place of peace, quiet and prayer for anyone to drop in and be still.

The parish of Fishtoft: St Guthlac is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Service

Clampgate Road Fishtoft

A traditional service of Holy Communion. All are very welcome. We have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that we can continue to hold regular services in church and have been implementing the Church of England Covid-19 guidance to keep everyone safe therefore some things will be slightly different at the moment. Due to the need to thoroughly clean the church between events we have moved to one service a week alternating between morning and evening Holy Communion. We are encouraging people to come to which ever is on that week if you are able. Please wear a face covering, maintain social distancing and refrain from mingling in order to keep everyone safe. (We have a maximum capacity of 38 individuals with social distancing in place in the nave).
