St Helena, Leverton

Welcome to Leverton, St Helenas.

This is a church where festivals have been well supported as has a regular worship together service once a month in the Church hall (where there are toilets, kitchen and it is far warmer). These services are informal, starting with a short service and then followed by a discussion over tea and biscuits. Leverton has a vibrant Harvest Festival meal and Auction. It also has a wonderful Carols by Candlelight service with the community choir and carols at the local equestrian centre.

We are looking for people who might be prepared to support and prepare the church for these celebrations events and pastoral services.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Leverton: St Helen is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO - Rev'd Andrew Higginson or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
