Reflection from the Rectory – Life in the Holy Spirit

How is the Holy Spirit working in your Christian life? By the time, this edition has been published we will have marked the Ascension of our Lord Jesus. A time of uncertainty for the disciples even though Jesus has promised them that they will not be left on their own. We too wait for the Holy Spirit. Ahead of Pentecost Sunday I ask you to read Acts 2.1-21, the coming of the Holy Spirit and what follows afterwards. I hope that it will inspire you to come to church and, together, celebrate what is known as the birthday of the Church as we know it. A short offering this month as there is lots to read in this edition. Remember if we do not get your stories we cannot publish them. Blessings. Reverend Al.

We have a service of Morning Praise on the 1st June

Each MONDAY afternoon, come and join us in the WINCHELSEA CENTRE BETWEEN 2PM AND 4PM. This is a drop in and drop out event.

There will be: a used TOY LIBRARY, light REFRESHMENTS, CRAFT, BOARD GAMES and a TODDLER'S PLAY SPACE and TIME to just BE.
Our new Community event is designed to bring us closer together. All Saints All Ages All Sorts is focused on bringing the whole community together for a couple of hours on a Monday afternoon. There will be activities for all ages, refreshments and games. Why not come and see we would love to welcome you.

The last Sunday@3 was all about Peace. Where we sat together and created some Peace prayer wheels and a lovely globe with prayers and images of peace. It was a lovely time together, why not come along for our next one

Come and join us at our monthly mid-week evening service of Holy Communion. Stay for fellowship afterwards. This is an wonderful opportunity to not only share together worship and Communion but to meet folk from our sister churches as we gather together .

Come and join us for Holy communion, worship, praise and fellowship. This is the service when we are joined together as one body, a time when all our sister churches (Anwick, Cranwell, Evedon, and Leasingham) all come together at our Mother Church to worship.

Messy Church will be on Saturday the 7th of June at 2pm not the 2nd as I mistakenly typed. Timings:2pm start (arrival from 1.45pm). We will still be exploring the story of men and women in the Bible. Blessings. AReverend Al.
