World Day of Prayer Service

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Vincents
Address
Church Lane Caythorpe Grantham, NG32 3AU, United Kingdom

All are invited to this service, both men and women and children, a women-led, global, ecumenical movement, this year prepared by an ecumenical group of Christian women from Nigeria. As we take part in the service, we join in a great wave of prayer which encircles the globe, beginning in Samoa and ending, 146 countries later, in American Samoa, all praying with and for the country and people of Nigeria. We give thanks to the Christian women of Nigeria for this service and pray that their stories will encourage and inspire women throughout the world to unite as one people in both prayer and action.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Caythorpe: St Vincent is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Linda Kingston (01400 272740) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor(01522 504070 [email protected]). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
