St Mary

Welcome to St Mary's Church - Knaith.

Described as "odd but delightful" with stunning views of the River Trent. St Mary's curious appearance reflects an intriguing and calamitous history. The church dates from around the 12th century and has interesting features including a superb Gothic font, fine Jacobean pulpit with tester, charmingly rustic medieval pew ends, and an unusual altar Baldacchino.

You are warmly welcome to any of our services. Access to our church is restricted at other times, but please call the following keyholder contact telephone numbers, they will be happy to assist in arranging access or providing you with further information:

 - 01427 611696 - 01427 613005 - 07771 417085 -

A free guided tour is also available, please contact as above.
