Messingham has a long tradition of the bells being regularly rung .
We are an active group including a core of experienced ringers and others who have learnt more recently. We enjoy ringing both as a hobby and as a service to the church. During recent years we have rung the bells for Sunday services, weddings, funerals and to mark special local and national events and celebrations. We hold a busy and lively practice every Friday evening and often ring quarter peals, which take approximately 45 minutes, to mark special occasions and improve our skills. Occasionally a full peal is rung; a full peal taking approximately 3 hours and being a significant mental challenge.

We are always pleased to welcome visiting bands of ringers who may be touring the area and enjoy hosting events for the Lincoln Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers (LDGCB), our local association.

An eucharistic service shared by all churches in our group of churches known as the South Manlake Benefice and hosted in rotation.

Messingham Community Choir invite you to join them in Holy Trinity Church at 7.00pm on Tuesday 23rd Dec. They will be singing traditional carols and winter songs. You are most welcome to come along and listen or join in. Followed by light refreshments.
