Palm Sunday Services Part 1 - The Blessing of the Palms

You are warmly invited to join us for our Palm Sunday service, as we gather together as a Benefice to begin Holy Week.

We meet at 9.30am at All Saints’ Church for the Liturgy of the Palms, recalling Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. With palm crosses in hand, we join in this act of praise and procession.

Those who are willing and able are then invited to walk together in procession to St Lawrence’s Church, arriving for 10.45am, continuing our worship with the reading of the Lord’s Passion and the celebration of Holy Communion.

This moving service takes us from the joy of “Hosanna” to the solemnity of the cross, marking the beginning of our journey through Holy Week.
