The church was looking beautiful, thanks to a small group of ladies from the resident Art Group who buffed, tidied and polished her ready for her visitors.
The grotesque stone carvings in the north arcade and the RAF Squadron 166 memorial window and memorabilia, including "operation Manna" in 1945 were lovingly showcased.
There was also a selection of paintings on display from our talented local artists, a celebration of organ music along with light refreshments and a warm welcome. It was lovely to see the wider community together having such a pleasant time.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making it such a success and to everyone who came to visit.
