This year we met Merlin the Working Cocker Spaniel and his owner Liz who are part of a community of pet owners and their amazing pets who brighten days and bring joy to people in hospitals, care homes, schools and more.

We learned about the selection process, of what it takes to become a registered 'Pets as Therapy' dog and all about the marvellous work that goes on out in the community in this wonderful partnership between owner and dog. We were also privileged to watch Merlin demonstrate some of his tricks, all watched with interest by the other dogs in attendance.
