Finding us by road…
The Church building is situated at the intersection of Legsby Avenue and St Augustine Avenue in the Park electoral ward of Great Grimsby.
The nearest ‘A’ road intersection is the A16/A46.
From the centre of Grimsby (A16)…
Take the A16 Peaks Parkway road, south towards Louth. Drive past B&Q on the left hand side, and drive through the next set of traffic lights. As you approach the second set of lights (A46 intersection), take the right hand lane of the dual carriageway, and turn right into Weelsby Road. Then take the second right into Legsby Avenue.
Drive north down Legsby Avenue approximately 150 metres to its intersection with St Augustine Avenue, where you will observe the Church on the right hand side. Turn right into St Augustine Avenue and locate a suitable on-road parking space. The entrance door to the Church is located at the south-west corner of the building.
From the Louth direction (A16)…
As you approach the outskirts of Grimsby on the A16 Louth Road, you will drive past New Waltham on your right hand side. At the next roundabout, the first exit is to Scartho and the Hospital. Take the second exit continuing on the A16 to Grimsby. At the next roundabout take the first exit - A16 - (Peaks Parkway) towards the town centre, and at the first set of traffic lights turn left onto the A46 (Weelsby Road), and then take the second right into Legsby Avenue.
Drive north down Legsby Avenue approximately 150 metres to its intersection with St Augustine Avenue, where you will observe the Church on the right hand side.
Turn right into St Augustine Avenue and locate a suitable on-road parking space. The entrance door to the Church is located at the south-west corner of the building.
From the Market Rasen/Legsby direction (A46)…
Essentially, the key to this journey is to remain on the A46, which will take you all the way to within 150 metres of the Church building.
As you drive along the A46 dual carriageway past Laceby (on the left hand side) you will approach a roundabout with the Morrison’s supermarket and petrol station on the left hand side.
Continue straight ahead on the dual carriageway, and as you approach the next roundabout, keep to the right hand lane to go straight ahead (the left hand lane is solely for left turning traffic).
Immediately after this roundabout, the A46 becomes a single carriageway road. Continue heading east along this road for 2 kilometres (approx. 1¼ miles) and you will approach another roundabout. You will notice the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology and The Grimsby Institute on the left hand side of the road. Keep in the right hand lane on approach to this roundabout (but we are not turning right to Louth and Skegness).
Take the first exit to Town Centre and Cleethorpes but keep to the right hand lane of this two-lane exit as the road splits two ways and you need to be taking the right hand fork at the traffic lights for Cleethorpes (Weelsby Road).
As you drive down Weelsby Road you are looking for the fourth turning on the left hand side into Legsby Avenue.
Drive north down Legsby Avenue approximately 150 metres to its intersection with St Augustine Avenue, where you will observe the Church on the right hand side. Turn right into St Augustine Avenue and locate a suitable on-road parking space. The entrance door to the Church is located at the south-west corner of the building.
