Maria Mason attended her last Sunday Service with us at St Augustine’s on 7th June

Fr. Adrian and his wife Maria are now in the process of moving to their retirement home in the market town of Worksop in Nottinghamshire.

At the end of the Sunday service on 7th June, Adele Dixon, churchwarden, thanked Maria on behalf of us all, for her hard work in supporting Fr. Adrian and the congregation during her time with us, and especially for producing and editing the monthly church magazine.

We all wish Maria well in this new season of her life as she and Fr. Adrian move to Worksop.

Fr. Adrian has agreed not to leave the church until the end of July.

Fr. Terry Steele has agreed to take the Sunday morning services on 14th and 21st June and Fr. Adrian will take the service on 28th June and all of the planned July Sunday services.

After Fr. Adrian has retired, services will continue to be provided by a rota of interim priests. Further details will be provided in due course.
