Every week, people gather in New Waltham to share quiet space.
From 7 - 7.30 pm, there is cake and conversation, and a short meditative reading.
From 7.30 - 8.30 pm there is quiet time to pray, read, sew, draw,write, or just be.
At 8.30 pm there is a short service of combine -- the ancient pattern of night prayer -- led by a member of the group.
After compline, we keep silence as we wash up and clear the church.

This is a prayerful, restful, hospitable space in which you can do whatever you need to. In summer, we also use the Quiet Garden for prayer. Come and go as you please -- there is no need to stay for the whole evening.
