About Us

Our  parish covers the east side of Crosby Road North in Waterloo, and the streets around South Road. We are a friendly and inclusive church, currently worshipping in our church hall which provides a warm and intimate atmosphere.  Most of our congregation live in the parish and you will find us welcoming and down-to-earth.

The church has a peaceful location in leafy Waterloo Park, and people sometimes say we are hard to find, though in fact we're only a stone's throw from the Five Lamps War Memorial, a well-known local landmark on the main road.    Worship is varied. The Sunday Parish Eucharist is quite traditional and middle-of the-road, though livened up from time to time by baptisms and Parades for our Guiding groups. We are family-friendly, with a creche area, a weekly Sunday School and a regular Sunday evening group for secondary age young people to further explore their faith. The Wednesday morning Eucharist is more informal, and there is also a monthly Sunday evening service that's more creative.    Beyond worship, we have a range of groups including a well-supported Study Group.   We are a member of Inclusive Church and also hold the Child Friendly Church Award.
