St Bart's Roby
Welcome to St Bartholomew’s church. We hope you will enjoy finding out about us, and are able to find the information you are looking for. You can also visit our website for more information. St Bartholomew’s has stood in Church Road for over 170 years providing a focal point in the local community. We are a thriving church with three services each Sunday to suit all ages and formality. The building is used throughout the week by different organisations for all kinds of activities. At St Bart’s we have a passion to see people of all ages come to living faith in Christ and we aim to be a community of Christians united in worship and witness.
St Bartholomew's Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs). The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. See our Safeguarding page or church website for more information.

Proof of charity status
Most churches are “Excepted Charities” and are therefore not registered with the Charity Commission. You can download a PDF that includes your church name, address and church code. This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving. Click on the download button below and fill in the short form. You will then be emailed the certificate as a PDF.
