Easter Day is the most important day of the year for Christians. It is when we celebrate that three days after being killed, Jesus rose from the dead -'the Resurrection'. Please join us for our service of Holy Communion. Please note: There is a fairly flat access to the altar area. Communion can be brought to your pew if requested. Hearing loop is installed. Hot drinks will be served after the service.

The church will be open from 12.pm until 4pm. There will be a cafe selling tea and coffee and a gift stall. You are welcome to just come and wander around our beautiful church. There will be help available re family graveyard enquiries and the history of the church.
Between 12pm and 3pm, Sefton Bell Ringers will generously give their time to allow people to try bell ringing! Please note: Minimum age to ring is 10 or 11 and you need to be able to take instructions and count to 8. Or you could come and try handbell ringing.
There are some mobility restrictions in the church. Disabled access to the church is via the lych gate on Bridges Lane. Please note there are no fully disabled toilets.

Our Saturday service aims to reach those people of all ages who might not feel comfortable in a traditional church environment and offers a more relaxed approach to worship and fellowship.

So why not come and join our informal, friendly group where we sit around tables and have an opportunity to chat, have refreshments with prayer and music.

In the Church of England, Pentecost Sunday is a major feast day marking the end of the Easter season. It celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ, as described in the book of Acts, and is considered the birthdate of the Christian church. The Church of England views Pentecost as a day of remembering the Holy Spirit's gift, the disciples' empowerment, and the beginning of the church's mission.

Please do join us: bring a team! Enjoy the fun, have a meal and there is a small prize for the winning team. Please bring your own drinks. We look forward to seeing you. Tickets are £5.00 (which includes a delicious supper) are to be purchased by Sunday 24th May.

A special focus for this service is a public expression of the bond we have with all animals. Through the service, we are able to make them an integral part of our worship life and relationships. Each animal is blessed individually by a member of the clergy. Everyone is welcome to bring their animal with them but we do ask they are secure! The service is held in church. All are welcome. Our collection will go to Freshfield Animal Rescue.

We are delighted to welcome you again to another fun evening of entertainment by the MADUkes (Maghull and District Ukulele Band). All proceeds are towards our church funds and there will be a raffle on the night. In the interval there will be a burger BBQ - included in the ticket price. Please bring your own drinks. Please join us for our annual Sea Sunday service.
90% of the world’s food, fuel, raw materials and manufactured goods are transported by sea. Most of the things we use every day arrive by ships, operated and maintained by skilled seafarers. Without seafarers, global trade would come to a standstill and it is because of these skilled brave men and women that businesses around the world thrive
On Sea Sunday, please remember the contribution that seafarers make to your daily lives, and the Mission to Seafarers that supports them. Our collection will be for this charity.

After our celebration service for Harvest we shall join together with a “bring and share” buffet. Everyone is welcome to join us.

The evening programme will consist of a wide variety of songs from musicals, films and some church music.
There will be Stuart Willis - guest organist, in the first half followed by our own Sefton organist Andy Freeman leading a choir to conclude the evening. Please support this fundraising event and bring your friends. There will be a hot pot with all the accompaniments and apple pie served in the interval by Scrummies Caterers. Tickets are available from July at a price tbc. Please note entrance is by ticket only available in church and by ringing 07977344169. Please bring your own drinks. There will be a Raffle on the night.

Join us at this poignant service to remember those who lost their lives to protect ours.

This service will take place in church after a brief service at the Memorial on Bridges Lane.

Our Fayre will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm with numerous stalls, bbq, hot drinks, etc. Father Christmas will also be present for children to have their photos taken with him between 11am and 12pm and 1pm and 2pm.
