Please join us for our service of Morning Prayer.

We meet every Monday except for Bank Holidays and the Christmas and New Year period to tidy up the church and graveyard and do other simple tasks.
If you feel able to help our group of volunteers, we would be very grateful. After our hard work we always enjoy tea/coffee and biscuits together and a good chat!
A member of the ministry team will be available should you wish to chat with them or have any queries.

Please come and join us at Sefton Meadows Coffee Shop “Rosies” on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10am – 12pm. You can purchase any items from their menu. Some of us have delicious breakfasts but many just have a hot drink - it's up to you! Due to the popularity of this event we have now decided to make this a monthly occasion with the following dates: 12th August, 9th September, 14th October, 11th November and 9th December. All are welcome – please bring a friend.

Please note: There is a fairly flat access to the altar area. Communion can be brought to your pew if requested. Hearing loop is installed.
Please note that where it states that this service will not take place on certain dates it is because a special service (which may include Holy Communion) will be taking place on that particular day eg 5th April will be Easter Day Holy Communion.

We welcome all baptisms of children or adults. Baptism is an outward sign of us expressing a belief in the God who loves us, it is a sign of belonging to God’s family and it is a beginning to get to know more about God.

Our service of baptism is usually held during our morning service (11am) on the 4th Sunday of the month. There is no charge for the service but we always welcome a donation on the collection plate.

Please do join us: bring a team! Enjoy the fun and have a delicious meal. Please bring your own drinks. We look forward to seeing you. Tickets are £5.00 (which includes a delicious supper) are to be purchased by Sunday 30th August on a Sunday or Monday morning in church.

Our bell ringers will be present between 12pm and 3pm and if you would like to “have a go” at ringing the Bells (under supervision) then you’d be more than welcome. The minimum age is 10 years old and you have to be able to count up to 8.

Harvest (or Harvest Festival) is an annual service of thanksgiving to thank God for the food supply, celebrate creation, and support the needy. It features traditional hymns, the church being decorated with fresh and tinned produce, and our local food bank benefits from the collections after the service.
After our celebration service for Harvest we shall join together with a “bring and share” buffet. Everyone is welcome to join us.

The evening programme will consist of a wide variety of songs from musicals, films and some church music.
Our guest organist will be Stuart Willis. Please support this fundraising event and bring your friends. There will be a hot pot (vegetarian available if pre-booked) with all the accompaniments and apple pie served in the interval by “Scrummies Caterers.” Tickets are available from August and particularly during our Heritage Open Days at £15. Please note entrance is by ticket only purchased before 2nd October and are only available in church. There are no reductions for children and no tickets are available without the supper. Please bring your own drinks. There will be a Raffle on the night.

Join us at this poignant service to remember those who lost their lives to protect ours.

This service will take place in church after a brief service at the Memorial on Bridges Lane.

We are hoping you will join us, as we hope the service will:
Enable different ages to contribute to worship together;
Encourage people to see church as “shared experience” and recognise we need each other;
Make worship more accessible to people who do not feel able to attend church regularly and to our many visitors provide a change in our usual pattern of services;
Will be suitable for all-adult congregations as well as young people.
For those families who have busy lives it is shorter in length than a usual Sunday Service.

At the heart of the service is an opportunity to remember our loved ones who have died. Their names can be read out in the service and a flickering candle can be held in their memory.

Our Fayre will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm with numerous stalls, bbq, hot drinks, etc. Father Christmas will also be present for children to have their photos taken with him between 11am and 12pm and 1pm and 2pm.

There are some mobility restrictions in the church. Disabled access to the church is via the lych gate on Bridges Lane. Please note there are no disabled toilets.

This is a celebratory family event that takes place in thousands of churches and schools across the country, raising funds that help the Children's Society to continue their work supporting young people. Christingle celebrations are named after the "Christingles" (oranges with a candle) that are lit and given out to everyone present during the service. The orange is a symbolic object as Christingle means 'Christ Light' and is used to celebrate Jesus Christ as the "Light of the World".

As we begin Christmas week and our Lord's birthday approaches, we look forward to the special day.
