We will be open for 6 days over two weekends in September 11th to 13th and 18th to 20th and we hope many visitors (approx. 320 in 2025) will take the opportunity to have a look around our amazing grade 1 listed church - “The Cathedral of the Fields”. There will be lots of items to purchase from our church shop, an opportunity to have a “cuppa” and find out some more information about family trees or the history of the church from our volunteers.

On the first Friday morning we will be welcoming Year 6 children of St Oswald's Primary School who will spend the morning with us doing crafts and following our Heritage Trail. 

On Saturday 12th Sefton Community Learning will be offered a 2 hour FREE Tudor Blackwork Embroidery Class for a limited number of people. There is now only one session with places at 2pm- 4pm. If you wish to join the afternoon session then please see Ange in church on Sunday or Monday mornings or leave a message on        0151 526 0253. 

On Saturday 19th , our Sefton Bell Ringers have kindly offered their time to allow people to try bell ringing  between 12pm and 3pm. You must be at least 10 years old and can count up to 8.
