"Beating the Bounds".
At this time of year, Rogationtide, we pray for everyone who lives or works in our parish. Traditionally we should walk around the Parish Boundary, but that would take us into the Irish Sea! This year on 9th May we will be walking in the Parish. Our route is shown on the map. You would be welcome to join us at any time. We start at St. Stephen's in Hightown at 09:15am, walk to Bill's Field in Little Altcar arriving for a coffee break at about 11am. At 11:30am we will walk to Church, where we will have lunch. Then at 2pm we will leave Church to walk through the Withins, and back to Church. Each leg of the walk in the morning is about 2 miles, and the afternoon walk is about 3 miles.
