A popular festive Christian celebration for Advent. Christingles are decorated oranges with a candle on top, which represents Jesus's light in the world.
The service will include songs and discussion and of course, making the Christingles and lighting the candles. Enjoyed by children and adults alike. Do come if you can. Everyone is welcome.

St Mary's Wavertree

St Mary's is a recognised child-friendly church that welcomes everyone. Our regular weekly services are from 10:30am each Sunday at which light refreshments are available.  We provide for young people from primary age upwards in all our services. We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

St. Mary’s is accessible. The entrance is via a ramped pathway and the doors throughout the building are wide. We have an accessible toilet and the main spaces are wheelchair and scooter friendly. Do get in touch with [email protected] if you'd like any more information.
