St Martin's Church, Southdene

St. Martin's Church in Southdene is a welcoming and inclusive community church. We aim to offer something for anyone, no matter who they are. We believe that Jesus' teaching offers hope in all situations.

We meet in a beautiful and unique modern church building, and we celebrate the Eucharist weekly, reminding ourselves that at the heart of our faith is a God who came to be with us, walks alongside us now, and gives us strength for day to day living.

The parish of Kirkby is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
