St. Andrew's Church, Tower Hill
St. Andrew's Church is the local church for Tower Hill in Kirkby. Set in a modern building with a beautiful chapel and hall, the building is well used all week by local community groups.
We are a welcoming and inclusive church who believes that God's love is for all, doing our best to be open to all who come through our door. We offer a time of prayer and space in our services and endeavour to be a place of spiritual care and welcome.
We are developing our community links and have undertaken community projects in liaison with the local schools and sure start centre. Everyone is welcome to get involved with these.
St Andrews takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England’s robust procedures and guidelines. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services." Our own safeguarding officer at St Andrews is Mrs Denise Hayden, for the whole parish it is Mrs Caroline Collins and Mrs Joyce Lester. If you wish to contact these individuals please do so by contacting the vicar, Rev Anne Lawlor. Thankyou.
