St. john’s Baptist Church invites you to join with fellow believers in a day of reflection as we explore the theme of 'journeys' this Advent. The perfect opportunity to take a step back from the busyness we often experience at this time of year, to unplug, relax and spend time with our heavenly father.

During this service we will be asking for donations to help St.Helens Youth Brass Band purchase new instruments, a and to our church so we can continue to offer warmth, love and hospitality throughout the Christmas period.

This service follows the modern Common Worship service pattern with two Bible readings, traditional hymns and a sermon. All Christians are welcome to receive communion which is currently given in the form of a wafer dipped in a cup of wine. For those who require a gluten free wafer, there is a separate cup. If you prefer the wafer only, let a member of the clergy know as you approach the chancel.
