Join us for a delicious cooked breakfast at Café Vista in the Ministry Centre. A full breakfast menu with lots of choices is available for you to select from and enjoy! This service follows the modern Common Worship service pattern with two Bible readings, traditional hymns and a sermon. Coffee will be available between 10:00 and 10:35 am. This is a great opportunity for those who attend the 9:00 am service to stay for a chat with each other and with those who are attending the 10:45 am gathering. If you're new to Christ Church, this is also a great opportunity to introduce yourself and get to know the friendly church family.

We have 8 bells in our church tower, however on a good day we might have only 4 or 5 of them ringing. We are looking to build a team of at least 12 bell ringers to create a more secure future for bell ringing at Christ Church. Bell ringing requires a good sense of time and rhythm, and in return it will provide a light upper body exercise and a good work out of the mind! We encourage you to join us for a short service of Morning Prayer, Monday to Thursday, at 9.00 am. Participants meet in the Upper Room at the Ministry Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on Facebook and Zoom Monday - Thursday. A group for pregnant ladies, and parents with babies under 9 months of age. A chance to meet and chat over a cuppa - sharing stories and supporting one another. Cost is £2 per family.

If you are interested in playing football, Cottage Lane Mission has organized a meet up at St.Bede’s school every Monday from 8-9pm.

Our Toddler Group is run by volunteers to support the local community. Our aim is to provide a safe, relaxed, friendly and inviting space for all pre-school aged children (0-3 years) and their carers ... whether that's Dad, Mum, Grandparent or carer. There's plenty of space for the more energetic little person and quiet spaces for the smaller or more static ones. Plenty of toys, and we provide refreshments for all ages!

Due to the popularity of this Group, we operate a waiting list.

You’re invited to join the Ormskirk Anchorhold Prayer Noon Watch group in the at Ormskirk Parish Church. After the summer, New Church House parish hall next to Ormskirk Parish Church. This Prayer Noon Watch is in addition to the morning prayer session which takes place every morning from 8:00 - 9:00.

A team from Christ Church Padgate will be cycling 127 km to visit every Christ Church in the Diocese on Saturday 15 August, stopping briefly at each church to pray before continuing their journey.

The sponsored ride is raising funds for Christ Church Padgate's reordering project. The team will start at 7:30am and finish back at Christ Church Padgate at around 5pm.
