Please join us for the licensing of Rev. Ian Greenwood as Vicar of Christ Church Aughton, officiated by the interim Bishop of Liverpool, The Right Reverend Ruth Worsley, followed by a bring and share Faith Supper in the Ministry Centre. Let us know whether you will be attending by completing the sign-up sheet at the back of church, and whether you plan to bring a savoury dish or a sweet dish. Whatever you decide to bring, please ensure all food items are brought on a plate and can be eaten without the use of cutlery, for ease of serving and cleaning up. Finger food suggestions include sandwiches, pre-sliced cakes, cupcakes. And, if you can help to set up, serve tea and coffee or clear up, please let Carole Rankin or Dennis Koogje know.Everyone is welcome at this special event to welcome Ian as our new Vicar. We would appreciate if our church members could park their cars in the school playground to free up space for visitors to park their cars in the Ministry Centre parking area. Thank you!

On Sunday, November 2 at 3:00 pm, we will be holding a special service for those who have lost a loved one. During the service there will be an opportunity through music, poetry and the lighting of candles to remember before God our loved ones, to reflect on special memories, and to remember each other in our prayers.
