Join churches in the Ormskirk area for an evenin of prayer in our Ministry Centre.

Join us for a fun-filled evening with music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90”s, and a light buffet. Please bring your own drink of choice. Tickets now on sale for £10 each at Cafe Vista in the Ministry Centre, and from Gary Smith or Carole Rankin. Proceeds in aid of church funds. Fancy dress is not compulsory, but would be great fun!

Please join us for the licensing of Rev. Ian Greenwood as Vicar of Christ Church Aughton, officiated by the interim Bishop of Liverpool, The Right Reverend Ruth Worsley, followed by a bring and share Faith Supper in the Ministry Centre. Let us know whether you will be attending by completing the sign-up sheet at the back of church, and whether you plan to bring a savoury dish or a sweet dish. Whatever you decide to bring, please ensure all food items are brought on a plate and can be eaten without the use of cutlery, for ease of serving and cleaning up. Finger food suggestions include sandwiches, pre-sliced cakes, cupcakes. And, if you can help to set up, serve tea and coffee or clear up, please let Carole Rankin or Dennis Koogje know.Everyone is welcome at this special event to welcome Ian as our new Vicar. We would appreciate if our church members could park their cars in the school playground to free up space for visitors to park their cars in the Ministry Centre parking area. Thank you!

Join us for a barn dance, hot pot supper with apple pie. Tickets are available from the Ministry Centre for £15 each. Please bring your own drink of choice.

On Sunday, November 2 at 3:00 pm, we will be holding a special service for those who have lost a loved one. During the service there will be an opportunity through music, poetry and the lighting of candles to remember before God our loved ones, to reflect on special memories, and to remember each other in our prayers.

Refreshments will be served after the service; all are welcome to come and celebrate and remember loved ones they have lost, and to stay after the service to chat.

A traditional carol service by candlelight, featuring the St. Helens Youth Brass Band and guest speaker Rev Neil Short, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. A time to sing your favourite carols and reflect on the real meaning of Christmas. Our bellringers will precede the service by ringing the church bells.
