D-Day 80th anniversary exhibit - Thursday, June 6, 2024

Occuring
for 7 hours
Venue
Christ Church Aughton
Address
Long Lane Aughton, L39 5AS, United Kingdom

In commemoration and celebration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day we are aiming to create our own exhibition of World War 2 artefacts at St Bede's School.

If you have an artefact from WW2, D Day, or the liberation of Europe 1944-45 we are asking if you would please lend the item to the school so we can create a community exhibition.

All items will be treated with respect and care. However, please beware that for items that are delicate we will not be able to guarantee 100% safety while in school.

Please make sure your contact details are clearly displayed on your artefact. Items can be left at the school reception during the school day and will be available to be collected on Friday the 7th of June.

Please write a description on a card with any relevant information.

Pupils, staff, parents, governors and members of the local community will be invited to visit the display on the 6th June. For further details contact Andrew Holt [email protected]
