Liverpool Cathedral invites you to Join their annual Pentecost March, as we journey together in hope and unity.

This year’s theme, Pilgrims of Hope, invites us to reflect on the Spirit’s call to walk together as people of faith, peace, and purpose. The procession will begin at Liverpool Cathedral at 3:00 PM and end at the Metropolitan Cathedral, bringing together Christians from across the city and beyond.

Whether you join every year or it’s your first time, all are welcome to take part in this joyful and meaningful act of witness through Liverpool’s city streets.

No booking required. Come as you are.

Following a period of interregnum (vacancy), Rev Ian Greenwood was licensed as Vicar of Christ Church Aughton on 25 September, 2025. We give thanks for Rev Janet Roberts, Rev Graham Rutter and our parish council for their leadership during the interregnum, and we extend a very warm welcome to Ian and his family to our church community.

We also welcomed Adam Pope our new Children and Youth Worker on 1 October, 2025. Welcome Adam!
