Easter Sunday - April 20, 2025: All Age Worship: 10:45 am + live-streamed on YouTube

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
Christ Church Aughton
Address
Long Lane Aughton, L39 5AS, United Kingdom

Please bring a few flowers to decorate the cross in church. When you arrive, please place them in the chicken wire on the cross.

Join our lively, all age gathering to worship and learn more about how we can follow Jesus. Music is led by our talented worship band, with song lyrics projected onto two screens at the front.

Part-way through our gathering, children and youth go to their respective groups.

All Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion in the form of a wafer dipped in a cup of wine. For those who require a gluten free wafer, there will be a separate cup. If you prefer just to have the wafer, please let a member of the clergy know as you approach the chancel.

This gathering will be recorded and live-streamed. None of the cameras are facing the congregation so you will not appear online.

Plan to come early because coffee will be available between 10:00 and 10:35 am. This is a great opportunity for those who attend the 9:00 am service to stay for a chat with each other and with those who are attending the 10:45 am gathering. If you're new to Christ Church, this is also a great opportunity to introduce yourself and get to know our friendly church family.

NOTE: During this service, we will be accepting financial gifts toward building maintenance projects. Please pray about this with a view to seeing if you might be able to make a special financial gift to support our church. Envelopes are available at the back of church, or gifts can be made by electronic money transfer. Refer to the “Support Christ Church” tab In the left side menu for more information. Thank you.
