About Us

Our vision statement is 'Knowing, growing in and sharing Jesus' love in Burscough.' This vision is central to the life of the church and shapes and influences all that we do.

St John's has also committed to becoming a resourcing church serving Burscough, Ormskirk Deanery and the Diocese of Liverpool.

We have identified four areas we want to prioritise:

          Growing in spiritual depth

          Growing in number

          Growing in service of others

          Planting new churches

Our aim in doing this is to keep Jesus at the centre of all we do.
