What a wonderfully full few months it’s been here at St Cuthbert’s! 🎉

We rolled up our sleeves for a fantastic Big Clean Up 🧹, with volunteers turning out in force to spruce up our beautiful church. It was a real team effort — dusters, polish, and plenty of laughter 😄 — and we’re so grateful to everyone who gave their time and energy. St Cuthbert’s is looking brighter than ever! ✨

Our regular coffee mornings ☕ have continued to be a warm and welcoming hub of chatter, cake 🍰, and community. Alongside that, we held a Silent Auction 🎁, which brought out some healthy (and friendly!) bidding. Thank you to everyone who donated items and took part — your generosity helps support the life and work of the church 💛.

We also enjoyed a lively Bingo Night 🎉, full of fun, a little suspense, and plenty of calls of “House!” It was wonderful to see the hall buzzing with conversation and smiles 😄.

Earlier in the season, we marked Plough Sunday 🌾, giving thanks for our rural heritage and praying for God’s blessing on the land and those who work it. It was a meaningful reminder of our deep roots in this community 🙏.

As the festive season approached, the church came alive with Advent reflections 🕯️, Carols by Candlelight 🎶, and joyful Christmas services 🎄. Our beautiful Christmas lightboxes ✨ once again lit up the church grounds, sharing the message of hope and light with everyone who passed by.

All of this sits alongside our regular worship 🙏, midweek gatherings 📖, and everyday acts of kindness 💛 that make St Cuthbert’s such a special place.

Thank you to everyone who takes part, supports events, bakes cakes 🍪, sets up chairs, buys raffle tickets 🎟️, cleans 🧹, prays 🙏, and encourages — you are what makes this church community thrive 🌟.
