St Thomas

Melling Church was founded by the monks of Cockersands Abbey, and a record exists that it was there before the year 1190.

The old Chapel was replaced in 1834 by the present building. The Church is dedicated to St Thomas and The Holy Rood.

You may be put on hold for a few seconds before joining the service but you can phone in 15 minutes prior to the service beginning. Each service lasts about half an hour with chat time 15 minutes before and after.
