This is a short 3 week course we are going to run on 3 Wednesday evenings - 17th April, 24th April & 1st May - called Hope Explored, a course aimed particularly at those exploring the Christian faith: the 3 sessions are based on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and explore some of his extraordinary claims from Luke’s gospel. St Thomas Melling

Melling Church was founded by the monks of Cockersands Abbey, and a record exists that it was there before the year 1190.

The old Chapel was replaced in 1834 by the present building. The Church is dedicated to St Thomas and The Holy Rood.
