Shortly before they broke up for summer, children from Year Two in some of our local primary schools came and looked around St Mary's Church, as part of their RE curriculum.

The children completed a Treasure Hunt to find various things in the church building, such as the altar, font, pulpit, lectern, organ, crosses, Paschal candle, stained glass windows and bibles. After this, we talked about why these are in church buildings and what they might show about what Christians believe.

The children all enjoyed their visits and these are a selection of the thank you cards we received.
