This September saw the church family welcome the new Reception class children and their families. The children, along with their teachers, assistants, Mr Sherriff and some members of the children’s families, came into church for a short service of welcome and blessing. During this, the children watched a short story and heard about how much Jesus loves them and will always be with them. They took part in a short craft activity to reinforce this. They then helped to take part in a prayer for the adults before the adults prayed a blessing over them and they were given this book bag blessing to keep in their book bags:

It was a lovely morning and we look forward to welcoming them in church again soon at Messy Church, Celebration Praise services and school events.
