Wigan Community Choir has enjoyed a celebratory 20th anniversary year since they began and the highlight will be a very special selection of Christmas favourites..

A CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

It’s very hard to calculate the enormous benefits of singing together. One thing is sure, members thrive on great music and over the years, their audiences always love everything they do.

The choir are currently rehearsing for their Christmas concert and the programme offers a wonderful mix of Christmas music; from traditional carols, to popular Yule tide songs.

There’ll be the choir’s legendary Christmas hamper raffle will also feature plus refreshments.

The choir is directed by Imelda Shirley and accompanied by Ian Shirley.

We all enjoy choir life and particularly love our Christmas time concert. We all feel our concert marks the beginning of the season, as do many of our audience members, who support us year on year. There’s always room for more though and we’d love to see you there!.’

The venue is St Michaels Church, Duke Street, Wigan. WN1 2BJ
