Join us for A Service of Thanksgiving & Celebration for the 2024 BBC Proms.

The service will be conducted by The Reverend Nicholas Mottershead, Priest in charge, Director of Music: Peter Asprey, Organist: Joshua Ryan and The Choir of Holy Sepulchre.

The service is free to attend but booking is essential. Doors open at 2.30pm.

A Choral Evensong series on Music and Spirituality: Music, Food of Love

We launch a new autumn series on Music and Spirituality called “Music, Food of Love.” Music is a powerful vehicle for drawing us into deeper relationship with a loving God. This series explores various in which it can be both a channel for inner healing and a vessel for the outward expression of God’s love to the world.

These are short talks that form part of Choral Evensong on Wednesday evenings with the professional Choir of Holy Sepulchre. Do come along and stay for a drink afterwards!

25th September. Joanna Gill, Composer and Head of Classical Music at Holy Trinity Brompton – “The Healing Power of Music"
30th October. Euan Tait, Librettist, Poet and Retreat Leader – “Music Our Companion”
27th November. Samantha Crawford, Opera Singer – “Voice to the Voiceless: Music and Social Justice”
18th December. Peter Asprey, Director of Music at Holy Sepulchre – “Love Came Down at Christmas"

The Friends of the Musicians’ Chapel annual Requiem Service will be held in memory of all musicians whose names are inscribed in the Musicians’ Book of Remembrance on Wednesday 6th November.

Come and Sing: Choral Evensong for St Cecilia with Special Guest, Roxanna Panufnik and a new commission by Lucy Walker.

Come and Sing the Finzi Magnificat or simply come and enjoy the service. Drinks will be served afterwards

We will be having an extended time of prayer and worship for the City on the first Tuesday morning of every month. There will be time to meet others over a tea or coffee and then time to gather in prayer.
