IMPRINT PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS The Lies Of A Dead Man

Occurring
for 3 hours, 30 mins
Venue
Fairfield Halls - Ashcroft Theatre
Address
Park Lane, Croydon, CR9 1DG, United Kingdom

A hip-hop musical centred around family, ambition, secrecy and spiritual warfare.

"Be careful. I don't think you're the only one who's all in."

25-year-old Jaxton's life is thrust into disarray when he is forced to step into the shoes of his recently deceased Father and become CEO of the family business.

Confronted with new responsibilities and conflicting ambitions, Jaxton navigates the weight of carrying someone else’s dream in the face of growing family tensions, rivalry and jaw-dropping secrets.

Through dynamic movement, intricate melodies, striking lyricism and sharp dialogue The Lies Of A Dead Man creates space to deal with the realities of good and evil and fractured family ties; all the while clinging to the hope of redemption.

The invitation is to come expectant, and to leave empowered in reflection:

Why indeed do we do the things we do?

Content Guidance

This production contains depictions of spiritual warfare, mild violence, substance abuse and references to grief and suicide.
