About Us
St Peter De Beauvoir was built in 1841 to serve the community of De Beauvoir Town which extends from Kingsland Road in the east to Southgate Road in the west and from Balls Pond Road in the north to the Regent's Canal in the south.
Today our lively congregation is a mix of people of all ages from all parts of the world. We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all.
Everyone comes together on Sundays at 10 am for the Parish Eucharist, during which there is a thriving Sunday School during term times, together with a crèche for the very young and an under 5s play area at the back of church. The popular God's Gifted Group (3Gs) meets once a month for our post-Confirmation teenagers.
After the Sunday Eucharist there's a chance to get to know each other over fairtrade ground coffee (and often cakes), as well as tea, alongside juice for the children.
Morning Prayer is said daily Monday-Friday at 8.30 am. Night Prayer (Compline) is said on Thursdays at 9 pm.
