Lent group

Every Tuesday at for 30 mins
St Andrew's, Thornhill Square
Thornhill Square Islington, N1 1BQ, United Kingdom

A daytime reflection group meeting at St Andrew's throughout Lent. We will be using the Church of England's Lent course, Watch and Pray. This draws on the wisdom of Black Spirituality, particularly the practice of “tarrying” (waiting) as a community to draw closer to Jesus and to each other.

The church of St Andrew's, Thornhill Square is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA, Jo Bingham, at the link below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority's children or adult social care services.
